Nick Sissons was born in the UK in 1971. He studied architecture at UTS, Sydney graduating in 1997 with honours. During his degree, Nick worked with Peddle Thorp and MSJ. Upon completion of his degree, he worked with Glenn Murcutt on the Fletcher Page House, Kangaroo Valley. In 1997, Nick traveled by motorcycle from Sydney to London where he joined Foster and Partners. He worked on the Gargoyle Wharf Apartments, Wandsworth and various competitions. Upon completion of the Part 3 course at the Bartlett, UCL, Nick became a UK registered architect and a member of the RIBA. Nick worked on the TAG McLaren Headquarters project for three years through to completion, responsible for the entire building envelope. Nick subsequently worked on the 126 Phillip Street tower. In 2003, Nick returned to Sydney via a study tour of Europe and USA and joined Crone Partners where he became a Practice Director responsible for the Nock and Kirby Redevelopment and Chatswood Civic Place. Nick formed Sissons Neves in 2004 and is a fifth year design tutor at UTS and a member of the AAA. | ||
