Born in Lisbon in 1971, Patricia Neves moved to London with her family in 1989 when her father was appointed as the Portuguese Naval Attaché. Patricia studied architecture at Southbank University, London, graduating with honours. She joined Foster and Partners in 1993 to work on various international competitions including the successful Lisbon Expo entry. Upon completion of her Diploma at the Bartlett, Patricia rejoined Foster and Partners to work on the ASPIRE National Training Centre, London which she followed through to completion. In 1998, she was the project architect for the Marano Penthouse in Belgrave Square. Patricia became a registered architect with the ARB and a member of the RIBA in 1998. She became an Associate at Foster and Partners in 2001, responsible for the 6 More London office building comprising over 12,000sqm of grade A office space. After a study tour of Europe and the USA, Patricia moved to Australia in 2003 to open Sissons Neves Architects. |
